박지유│Bak, Ji-yu
박지유는 서로 다른 문화의 상호작용에 대해 관찰하고 재해석하고 이를 바탕으로 지식을 만들어내는 지식노동자2019년부터 스멜더서울(SmelltheSeoul)이라는 브랜드 이름으로 인터컬쳐트레이닝 및 포용성 코칭, 넷엑스펙(NetExpat)이라는 유럽의 해외 주재원 인사 업무 컨설팅 회사와 인터컬쳐 컨설턴트로 협업, 영씨타(Young SIETAR)라는 인터컬쳐 커뮤니케이션에 대한 비영리 단체에서 연구 코디네이터 봉사활동을 하고 있다. 한국의 국민대학교에서 중국학과를 전공하고 1년의 독일 교환학생 프로그램을 통해 문화적 다양성에 관심을 가지게 되었으며 영국의 워릭대학교에서 응용언어학(세부전공: 인터컬쳐 커뮤니케이션) 영국 석사 전공을 한 후, 한국외국어대학교 통번역기초과정(정규)수료를 했으며, 25개 국가에 사는 사람들과 다양한 국제 프로젝트를 진행해 왔다. 지은 책으로는 공저 [Action Inclusion(2021)]와 전자책[더 한국적 느낌 The Korean Mood(2021)가 있으며,’더 한국적 느낌 The Korean Mood(2021)’는 그녀의 첫 종이책 데뷔작이다.
Bak, Ji-yu is an expert in intercultural interaction and communication. Since 2019 she has offered intercultural training and inclusion coaching through her independent brand ‘SmelltheSeoul’. Beyond her personal brand, Ji-yu has collaborated with NetExpat which is an expatriation consulting company in Europe as an intercultural consultant and coordinated intercultural research projects at the NGO YoungSIETAR. Ji-yu’s journey into authorship includes contributing to ‘Action Inclusion(2021)’ and penning her eBook ‘더 한국적 느낌 The Korean Mood(2021)’. The publication of this book marks her debut into the world of the paperback. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Chinese studies from the University of Kookmin (A year of learning in Germany as an exchange student enriched her passion for intercultural interaction) in Korea, an MSc in Intercultural Communication for Business and the Professions from the University of Warwick, UK, Interpretation and Translation (Korean-English) CATS from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Her collaborations span projects across 25 countries, underscoring her experience in diverse cultural interaction.
